Collide - 2009 *These Eyes Before*

Collide - 2009 *These Eyes Before*reupload.. Statik and kaRIN are the artists behind Collide with kaRIN providing the transcendental vocals and Statik providing the melodic and dramatic musical arrangements. They have released four studio albums, two collections of remixes, a collaboration with Dean Garcia of Curve as well as a live CD and DVD. Their latest project is perhaps their most ambitious yet: These Eyes Before is a collection of ten covers but it is in no way an example of the band selling out. The start times are approximate ~ 00:00 Breathe (Pink Floyd) - 3:20 03:20 Nights In White Satin (The Moody Blues) - 5:10 08:30 Come Together (The Beatles) - 4:10 12:40 Creep (Radiohead) - 4:17 16:57 Rock On (David Essex) - 3:24 20:18 I Feel You (Depeche Mode) - 5:00 25:18 Space Oddity (David Bowie) - 4:37 29:55 Baby Did a Bad Bad Thing (Chris Isaak) - 2:44 32:45 Tusk (Fleetwood Mac) - 3:55 36:34 Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd) - 6:32 kaRIN and Statik are CollideRather than focusing on songs from their own genre, like many bands do when recording covers, Collide have given tribute to some of the masters of rock whose inspiration is evident in the band's music. It takes a very brave band to cover Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, David Essex, and David Bowie on one album but Collide pull it off with incredible ease. Their respect for the artists and the songs they covered is evident and the production of the songs is flawless.

Il repertorio include brani di Depeche Mode, The Cure, Simple Minds, Joy Division, Ultravox, Tears For Fears, Killing Joke, Bauhaus, Gary Numan, Soft Cell, The Sound, Visage, Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, Leer & Rental, The Sisters Of Mercy, The Human League.
